The Heart Behind ARISE

ARISE: Unite. Restore. Reclaim. is more than a program — it’s a movement created to transform the futures of young women ages 18–25 who have experienced homelessness, instability, or disconnection from state care systems.
Too often, young women leaving these systems — whether from foster care, juvenile justice, or other forms of state involvement — face the world without the stability, resources, or support they need to thrive. ARISE steps in at this critical turning point, offering safe housing, trauma-informed care, and a pathway to independence.
We go beyond shelter — we build a foundation for healing and empowerment. Through mentorship, life skills development, education, and family reunification , ARISE equips every young woman with the tools to reclaim her story and rebuild her life on her own terms.
Why We Exist
There is a dangerous gap in services for young women aging out of care, navigating unstable environments, or facing homelessness. These young women are often released back into the same unsafe conditions that contributed to their trauma — or left to survive on their own with no safety net in place.
Many carry the weight of generational pain, fractured family systems, and the lingering impact of being overlooked by institutions meant to protect them. Without stable housing, emotional support, or access to meaningful opportunities, the cycle of instability continues.
ARISE exists to interrupt that cycle.
We meet young women at the point where the system stops — offering a safe place to live, space to heal, and tools to rebuild. Our mission is to not only catch them before they fall through the cracks but to raise them up — restoring their sense of worth, power, and possibility.
Because every young woman deserves more than survival — she deserves a future filled with hope, healing, and purpose.
Unite. Restore. Reclaim.
Our Guiding Pillars

UNITE
We unite girls with resources, relationships, and a sense of belonging. We create a trauma-informed sisterhood — a safe home where young women are seen, heard, and never alone.
Our model brings together clinicians, mentors, community partners, and family when possible.
Through group activities, mentorship, and shared living, girls begin to trust again — in others and in themselves.
RESTORE
We restore what trauma and instability have disrupted — identity, self-worth, and hope. ARISE offers on-site therapy (individual and group), emotional regulation tools, and wellness programming.
We support girls in processing trauma, managing stress, and building coping skills rooted in compassion and empowerment.
Restoration also means reconnecting with culture, passion, education, and purpose.

RECLAIM
We prepare girls to reclaim their lives with the skills and confidence to live independently. Our comprehensive life skills curriculum includes budgeting, cooking, time management, conflict resolution, and communication.
We support education goals (GED, college entry, vocational training) and offer job readiness coaching.
We help girls secure stable housing and build long-term success plans.
